The most important trait that distinguishes Navy SEALs from all other military forces is that SEALs are maritime special forces, as they strike from and return to the sea. In this Phase, you will learn the fundamentals of combat diving, drown proofing, Ditch/Don methodology, underwater navigation techniques, TAC board utilization, over-the-beach infiltration, tides and currents, underwater distance estimation, underwater target acquisition and demolitions placement, combat diver countermeasures, diver safety, and clandestine infiltration tactics across a variety of coastal terrain. The course will end with a Final Training Exercise (FTX) invloving all the skills learned and simulating a real-world mission in an enemy-controlled harbor.
This Phase is offered in a Combat Diver, as well as Combat Swimmer option, based on demand. Padi or Naui Certification Card required for Combat Diver Course. Lodging information is provided for you when you sign up. Dive gear for Combat Diver Course can be rented from a local dive shop under our direction. Combat swimmer may rent gear as well.
